Inauguration Marks Major Milestone for Nationwide PBAT Door-to-Door Movement

The official inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has been described by its organisers as a major milestone in the group's mission to establish a strong nationwide grassroots network ahead of future political and developmental engagements.

The event, held in Abuja, brought together supporters, political stakeholders, youth groups, women leaders, and community representatives from different parts of the country. Organisers said the movement is committed to fostering closer interaction between government and citizens through direct community engagement.

According to the leadership of the movement, the inauguration signals the beginning of a coordinated nationwide expansion that will see structures established across states, local government areas, wards, and communities. The objective is to create an effective platform for public sensitisation, civic participation, and grassroots mobilisation.

Supporters at the event noted that the movement would focus on promoting awareness of government policies, encouraging citizen involvement in governance, and providing a channel through which people can communicate their concerns and expectations to relevant authorities.

Speaking during the inauguration, leaders of the movement stressed that its activities would not be limited to political mobilisation alone. They explained that the organisation also intends to support community development initiatives, youth empowerment programmes, and advocacy campaigns aimed at promoting national unity and sustainable development.

Participants pledged to work collectively to strengthen the movement's presence across the country while encouraging peaceful participation in democratic processes. They also called on members to conduct all activities responsibly and in accordance with Nigeria's laws and electoral guidelines.

Political observers say the launch reflects the growing importance of grassroots engagement in Nigeria's evolving political landscape, where direct interaction with communities is increasingly viewed as essential for building public trust and encouraging civic participation.

With its formal inauguration completed, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement says it will immediately begin expanding its organisational structure nationwide as it prepares for future political and developmental engagements across Nigeria.
