National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has arrested 29,262 suspected drug offenders and seized illicit drugs valued at about ?1.5 trillion in its latest nationwide operations.
to the agency, the arrests and seizures are part of intensified efforts to curb drug trafficking and abuse across Nigeria. NDLEA noted that its operations have targeted major drug networks while also expanding public awareness campaigns and rehabilitation programmes for people battling drug addiction.
