The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration, accusing it of failing to address the worsening economic hardship facing millions of Nigerians.
In a statement, the opposition party claimed that rising food prices, inflation, and the increasing cost of living have pushed many families into extreme poverty, alleging that some Nigerians are now struggling to afford basic meals. The ADC argued that the government's economic policies have placed additional pressure on households rather than providing relief.
The party called on the federal government to urgently implement measures to reduce the cost of food, stabilize the economy, create jobs, and improve citizens' welfare.
